By booking any tour, you acknowledge and confirm that you have read and understood them. Please contact us if you do not understand any aspect of these Terms and Conditions.

Booking Terms & Conditions
A booking is binding for both the tour participants and Amitylux as soon as the participants have paid for the booking.
For daily tours paid through the website, a booking confirmation and ‘Welcome Information’ email will automatically be sent once the booking is complete. If you do not receive an email within 2 hours, please contact us to ensure no problems have occurred during the booking process.
If you are booking on behalf of others, it is your responsibility to ensure that all critical information is passed on to the participants.
Practical Information
- Weather Conditions
We operate in all weather conditions. Please dress appropriately and bring a rain jacket in case of rain or warm clothing during the winter.
- Arrival Time
Guests are required to arrive no later than 10 minutes before the tour’s scheduled start time to ensure everyone is present. Tours begin promptly as stated, and we cannot wait for late arrivals.
- Physical Requirements
Participants must be able to walk more than 5 km (3 mi) at a reasonable pace or have experience biking safely in a foreign urban environment. We take safety seriously, and if you cannot bike safely on our bikes, you will not be allowed to join our bike tours, and no refund will be given.
Terms & Conditions for Bike Tours
- Bike Proficiency
All participants must be capable of safely riding the bikes provided. If, in the judgment of the guide, you are unable to ride the bike safely, you will not be allowed to join the tour. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
- Helmets
Wearing helmets is not compulsory in Denmark, so we do not provide them as standard. However, helmets can be hired on the day for a small fee.
- Safety First
Using a mobile phone or any other handheld device during the bike ride is strictly prohibited by law. If a participant is found using their phone, the guide reserves the right to cancel the tour for that individual without a refund.
- Refund Policy
No refunds will be given for cancellations due to failure to comply with safety standards or inability to ride the bike.
Terms & Conditions for Cancellation
- Daily Private and Small Group Tours
Full refunds are available up to 24 hours before the start of the tour. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@amitylux.com
- Special/Custom Tours, Car Services, Corporate/Large Group Tours, Events, and Corporate Rentals
- No cancellation fee for cancellations up to 30 days before departure.
- Cancellations 30 – 14 days before departure: 75% refundable.
- Cancellations 14 days – 72 hours before departure: 50% refundable.
- Cancellations within 72 hours of departure: non-refundable.
The starting time of a tour is calculated from 08:00 am on the date booked unless otherwise agreed at least 72 hours beforehand.
- Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Third-Party Bookings
If you have booked through a third party, you must contact them directly for any amendments or cancellations.
Tour Content
The tour descriptions are for illustrative purposes only. Every tour is personal and unique, depending on the guide, local traffic, and weather conditions. Therefore, Amitylux does not guarantee that specific sights will be visited.
Images and Marketing
By participating in our tours, you consent to photos, videos, or images of you being taken by other participants or our guides. You grant full permission for us to use these images for marketing or any other purpose without obligation or compensation.
Liability
Participation in our tours is at the participant’s own risk. Participants are liable for any damage caused to persons or materials.
Complaints
Complaints regarding Amitylux’s services must be communicated in writing to info@amitylux.com within seven days of the tour’s departure.
Disputes
In case of a dispute, if no agreement can be reached through negotiation, disputes will be settled according to Danish law.
