A booking is binding for both the tour participants and Amitylux as soon as the participants have paid for the booking.
Regarding the daily tours paid through the website – a booking confirmation and ‘Welcome Information’ email will automatically be sent to you once the booking is complete. If you do not receive an email within 2 hours of booking, it is your responsibility to contact us to ensure no problems have occurred during the booking process.
If you are making a booking on behalf of others, it is your responsibility to ensure that any important information is passed on to all participants.
We operate in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately and bring a rain jacket in case of rain.
We ask our guests to arrive no later than 10 minutes prior to their tour to make sure that no one is missing. Tours start promptly at the time stated.
Participants must be able to walk more than 5 km (3 mi) at a reasonable pace or have experience biking safely in a foreign urban environment. We take safety seriously. If you are not able to bike safely on our bikes, you will not be allowed to join our bike tours and no refund will be given. Wearing helmets is not compulsory in Denmark; therefore, we do not provide them. However, helmets can be hired on the day for a small fee.
We do full refunds for our Daily Private and Small Group Tours up to 24-hours before the start of the tour.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to email@example.com.
For all Special Tours, Corporate/Large Group Tours, Events, and Corporate Rentals there will be no cancellation fee for cancellations up to 30 days prior to departure. For cancellations within 30 days the following fees apply to the total cost of the booking:
- Cancellations 30 – 14 days prior to departure are 15% refundable.
- Cancellations 14 days – 48 hours prior to departure are 50% refundable.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of departure are non-refundable.
Gift Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for money.
If you have booked through a third party, you must contact that third-party directly regarding amendments and cancellations.
The tour descriptions are for illustrative purposes only. Every tour is personal and unique, depending on the tour guide, the local traffic, and weather conditions on the day. Amitylux does not, in any way, guarantee that specific sights that will be visited.
Images and Marketing
You agree that whilst participating in any of our tours, images, photos or videos may be taken by other participants or our guides/representatives and could contain or feature you. You consent to these images and grant full permission for us to use them for whatever purpose we choose, in any medium we wish, at any time in the future, obligation, and compensation-free.
Participation in our tours takes place entirely at the participants’ own risk. Participants are liable for any damage to persons and material caused by themselves.
Any complaints regarding the services provided by Amitylux must be communicated in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org no more than 7 days after the departure date of the tour.
In the event of a dispute, when Amitylux and the participant fail to reach an agreement during negotiation, any dispute shall be settled according to the Danish law.
The tour participants consent to the processing of their personal data by Amitylux for administrative purposes.
By visiting our website, certain information is transmitted to us, for example, IP-address, type, and version of your web browser, operating system, the website you came from, and the time of your visit. This data cannot be used by us to identify individual visitors. The data is exclusively used to improve the popularity, content, and functionality of our website. Whenever we collect personal or business data (e-mail address, name, phone number) this is provided by the visitor on a purely voluntary basis.
Booking & Payment Policy
Whilst booking a tour on amitylux.com, you’ll be asked to provide some personal information that will be collected through our booking platform Fareharbor in order to administer your bookings and ensure you get the best service possible – names, phone number, and email.
In the case of online payment, your personal data will be processed via our Payment Gateway provider, Fareharbor.
We will not share any personal information, unless otherwise explicitly stated, with third parties, unless we are legally obliged to do so or the transfer of data is necessary in order to complete a service you request.
Guides have access to the basic information provided by the guest upon the booking. To perform the services requested we share basic contact information with our guides, who use the details to e.g. locate guests or contact them in case of emergencies.
Resellers & Online Travel Agencies Policies
We work with a large network of resellers who then share booking information with us. When you make a reservation on a reseller’s website, take the time to read their privacy notice if you wish to understand how they may process your personal data.
